High Tensile Hex Bolt is often referred to as the structural grade for bolts. It is the most common hexagonal form of high tensile material and is usually stocked in surface treatment of black oxide. This is often made using carbon steel and boron steel. It can be plated in many other coatings. This is available in a size range varying between 20 to 39 mm. 4, 6, 8, 10, and 2h grades are typically used in automotive applications and for bolting large, forged parts.
